Meet the presenter, Anthony (Tony) T. Kitt, Senior Vice President, Strategic Innovation and Planning, California and Nevada Credit Union Leagues:
The California Credit Union League and the Nevada Credit Union League are the trade associations for credit unions in those states. They serve 343 credit unions in California and Nevada with more than 9.5 million members and more than $127 billion in assets.  Tony Kitt directs the Leagues’ strategic innovations and planning processes through oversight of existing business partnerships; new business initiatives; and internal-facing league support functions. Tony has overall responsibility to develop value and relevance of the Leagues to member credit unions through strategic innovation.   Through his leadership, his team anticipates near and long term financial institution challenges and finds solutions that position our member credit unions to expertly serve their members.

Mr. Kitt has an extensive background in financial management and payment activities.  In addition to his role at the League, he is a board member for Ensenta, Inc a payments technology company who provides a host of innovative payment services primarily to Credit Unions.   From 2003 – 2012, Tony was the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the $15 Billion Western Corporate Federal Credit Union (WesCorp).   Prior to joining WesCorp in 2003, Mr. Kitt served as an Air Force Officer, and in his last military assignment he served as the Chief Financial Officer for United States Northern Command (USNORTHCOM) and the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD).  In his 20 year career he held financial management staff and command positions at all levels in the Air Force.  He retired as a Lieutenant Colonel.

Mr. Kitt is a member of Credit Union Executive Society, The American Society of Military Comptrollers, The Air Force Association, and the Knights of Columbus.   He has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, from Northern Arizona University, and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
